Like the folk behind the counter, like the coffee and pastries but I'm afraid the floor is disgraceful. Not only filthy with crumbs and doghairs but the table bases are thick with hard grime and need a good wash. Wasn't really aware of the state of things until today when I happened to lift my bag off the floor and was quite shocked. I know the staff are kept busy but there needs to be a better cleaning routine in place or people will head elsewhere I'm afraid and that would be a pity.

Coffee was nice apart from serving in a wrong design of cup. Tables were filthy been cleared of dishes but not wiped. The floor was disgusting. Lots of flies about. Mirror on wall filthy. Full trolley if dirty dishes sitting in cafe. If this is what we see I wouldn't like to think behind till area definitely won't be back. Found experience so disgusting.

This is a great venue with a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very helpful. However, the company needs to make changes. The decor is old and in bad condition, and the flooring needs a major upgrade as eventually someone will have an accident. The toilets need upgrading. Unfortunately the staff get the brunt of complaints about the state of decor and it is not their fault, the company needs to get busy and sort things. There are plenty of other coffee venues around this one, and eventually, people will start going elsewhere.

Very nice friendly place. Walled garden at back for summer, which is not obvious when you go in.Food choices better than Costa over the road, and I prefer their coffee too (though some do not, it's a matter of taste).Dogs are totally welcomed here, inside and out. Great to see.Parking: Free parking at the harbourside with no time limit, or minute free parking outside (severely enforced).
